The « Reader Evangelizo » script return a string with the content requested by "type" parameter
The returned string will be encoded as following :

UTF-8: for any param "lang"

DESCRIPTION

This manual page documents the « Reader Feed v2.0 » for EVANGELIZO.ORG.
With the « Reader Evangelizo » you can get all texts provided by evangelizo.org web service. The « Reader Evangelizo » will help you to display daily reading in your website, or saint of the day .. etc
The « Reader Evangelizo » is used as any PHP file on a website, with params like : file.php?param1=1&param2=2

PARAMETERS

Usage : http://feed.evangelizo.org/v2/reader.php?param1=«value1»&param2=«value2»br />

date	Must be formatted like YYYYMMDD. Can not exceed 30 days from today.
type	Inform about what you want to get - « saint » : to get the saint of the day (with link to life) - « feast » : to get the feast of the day, if there is one (with link to explanation) - « liturgic_t » : to get the liturgic title - « reading_lt » : to get the long title of the reading - « reading_st » : to get the short title of the reading - « reading » : to get the text of the reading - « audio » : to get the URL of audio file if exist - « all » : to get all the readings of the day - « comment_t » : to get the title of the commentary - « comment_a » : to get the author of the commentary - « comment_s » : to get the source of the commentary - « comment » : to get the text of the commentary - « xml » : to get all infos of the day in XML format

PRIMA LETTURA Atti degli Apostoli 5,17-26.

In quei giorni, si alzò il sommo sacerdote e quelli della sua parte, cioè la setta dei sadducei, pieni di livore,
fatti arrestare gli apostoli li fecero gettare nella prigione pubblica.
Ma durante la notte un angelo del Signore aprì le porte della prigione, li condusse fuori e disse:
"Andate, e mettetevi a predicare al popolo nel tempio tutte queste parole di vita".
Udito questo, entrarono nel tempio sul far del giorno e si misero a insegnare. Quando arrivò il sommo sacerdote con quelli della sua parte, convocarono il sinedrio e tutti gli anziani dei figli d'Israele; mandarono quindi a prelevare gli apostoli nella prigione.
Ma gli incaricati, giunti sul posto, non li trovarono nella prigione e tornarono a riferire:
"Abbiamo trovato il carcere scrupolosamente sbarrato e le guardie ai loro posti davanti alla porta, ma, dopo aver aperto, non abbiamo trovato dentro nessuno".
Udite queste parole, il capitano del tempio e i sommi sacerdoti si domandavano perplessi che cosa mai significasse tutto questo,
quando arrivò un tale ad annunziare: "Ecco, gli uomini che avete messo in prigione si trovano nel tempio a insegnare al popolo".
Allora il capitano uscì con le sue guardie e li condusse via, ma senza violenza, per timore di esser presi a sassate dal popolo.

Benedirò il Signore in ogni tempo,
sulla mia bocca sempre la sua lode.
Io mi glorio nel Signore,
ascoltino gli umili e si rallegrino.

Celebrate con me il Signore,
esaltiamo insieme il suo nome.

Dal Vangelo secondo Giovanni 3,16-21.

In quel tempo, Gesù disse a Nicodemo: «Dio ha tanto amato il mondo da dare il suo Figlio unigenito, perché chiunque crede in lui non muoia, ma abbia la vita eterna.
Dio non ha mandato il Figlio nel mondo per giudicare il mondo, ma perché il mondo si salvi per mezzo di lui.
Chi crede in lui non è condannato; ma chi non crede è gia stato condannato, perché non ha creduto nel nome dell'unigenito Figlio di Dio».
E il giudizio è questo: la luce è venuta nel mondo, ma gli uomini hanno preferito le tenebre alla luce, perché le loro opere erano malvagie.
Chiunque infatti fa il male, odia la luce e non viene alla luce perché non siano svelate le sue opere.
Ma chi opera la verità viene alla luce, perché appaia chiaramente che le sue opere sono state fatte in Dio».

Commento al Vangelo

O Splendore della gloria del Padre,
che trai Luce dalla Luce,
sorgente della luminosità,
giorno che illumini il giorno,

tu sei il vero sole,
che risplendi di eterno fulgore,
vieni e infondi nei nostri cuori
la luce radiosa dello Spirito Santo!

Supplichevoli invochiamo anche il Padre,
Padre di perenne gloria
e di possente grazia,
perché allontani la subdola colpa.

Susciti azioni valorose,
respinga gli attacchi dell’invidia di Satana,
ci sia propizio nelle avversità,
ci doni la grazia di agire bene.

La mente governi e regga
in un corpo casto e fedele;
la fede si infiammi di intenso fervore,
e non conosca il veleno dell’inganno.

Cristo sia nostro cibo,
sia nostra bevanda la fede,
lieti attingiamo
alla sobria ebbrezza dello Spirito.

Trascorra lieto il giorno,
il pudore sia come il chiarore dell’alba,
la fede come il meriggio,
l’animo non conosca il tramonto.

L’aurora procede nella sua corsa:
si mostri tutto aurora,
tutto il Figlio nel Padre
e tutto il Padre nel Verbo. Libri di fede
